Lecturer: Prof. Michele Calì, Assistant Professor of Design methods for industrial engineering at University of Catania, Italy.
Michele Calì obtained his PhD in Structural Mechanics discussing an experimental thesis, carried out in collaboration with Ferrari S.p.A., entitled: “Numerical-experimental analysis and dynamic optimization of the distribution of an internal combustion engine“. Since March 2015 he is Assistant professor caring out teaching activities in field of Industrial, Mechanical and Management
Engineering with the topics: Industrial Technical Design, Computer Aided Design, Car Construction Exercises, Geometric Modeling of Machines. He has participated in the activities of numerous national and international research projects (MURST, CNR, PRIN, FIRB, POR, PON) developed with various university structures and research centers including FIAT Research Center, Elasis Research Center, Ducati R&D Motorcycles, Ferrari SpA Powertrain Technical Department, Lamborghini Auto SpA R&D.
